Epidemic

It all started …

after a week of her close friends discussing the problems with their invisible illnesses, Marie came up with the concept of her screenplay, Epidemic, set in a world where those once critically ill are now healed and have incredible powers.

Epidemic is a feature length science-fiction drama about a girl with telekinetic powers, finding her place in a post-war, military driven world, whilst also protecting herself from those who govern her city. Luna is doing well to stay under the radar, keeping her powers hidden, until a young boy with even stronger powers, Kody, is kidnapped by the military for experiments and to be weaponised. Teaming up with a local vendor with telepathic abilities and as many special people she can find, Luna attempts to overthrow the military… but is she going to come out on top, or walk straight into a trap?

So far, the unproduced screenplay for Epidemic has received positive feedback from several festivals, being awarded Best Unproduced Screenplay at two festivals thus far, as well as quarter and semi-finalist.
