Writing

Since the early 2000s, Marie has been creating stories through poetry, short fiction and screenwriting. She majored in Creative Writing during her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne, which is where she discovered her love for poetry and screenwriting.

Since 2015, Marie has published five books: "Pixel People", "Painted Memories" ,"Tigers Play Hide and Seek", "Postcard Poetry" and “Tales of Teenage Turbulence and Other Terrible Times” - all of which you can purchase here

As you can see from these titles, Marie loves alliteration.

Pixel People is a collection of Marie's poems via typewriter and pen, Painted Memories is an anthology of short stories from 2006 to 2015 and Tigers Play Hide and Seek is a children's book that Marie wrote and illustrated in 2005. She reworked and republished it in 2017. Postcard Poetry is a photographic collection of poems and the various global locations where they were written.

In late 2015, Marie took up writing for The Vine, now known as Punkee. You can read Marie's archived articles here.

Poetry

You can find the vast majority of Marie's poems online on her Facebook page. Her poetry has been published in a collection titled "Pixel People", which you can purchase here.

In 2017, Marie self published her travel poems and photographs from 2015-2017 in a book titled "Postcard Poetry". You can purchase a copy of "Postcard Poetry" from this link.

Screenwriting

Marie graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2015 with a Masters of Screenwriting. Since then Marie has entered several competitions for screenwriting, and written dozens of short films.
